a not-so-fantastic review

The first film I saw in the theatre this year was "Fantastic Mr. Fox." Unfortunately it was a few weeks ago and I don't feel I can adequately remember it in detail enough to describe my thoughts.

I will say that I really enjoyed it. I liked the old-school claymation/stop motion look and feel. But while that part of it was familiar, the rest of the film was so unlike almost any other animated films I've ever seen.

It had some very funny and hilariously random moments - my favorite was the scene with the wolf at the end.

Maybe someday I'll re-visit this movie and write a proper review.
